Kindergarten Here I Come

Well today was Tanner's big day. Thankfully preschool prepared mom and son for this day, so I am happy to report that no tears were shed. I did tear up a little at orientation, but that was more for that fact that I could tell that his teacher was going to be amazing and I knew this year was going to be a good one for him. It is a little sad that my boy is growing up, but it is going to happen regardless of what I do and that is why I try each day to enjoy the little moments that I have NOW! Tanner is a wonderful little man and I am so excited to see what this year holds for him and how much he is going to learn and grow. Hopefully he will be talking about Mrs. Lew for years to come. I also must mention, because I thought it was sweet, that my dear husband woke up early, got the boys ready and insisted that we all go and drop Tanner off for his first day of public school.
Tanner is back now and he seemed to have a good time. When I asked him what he thought the most important thing he learned today was he said, "We don't tell anyone that we won't play with them because that might hurt their feelings and that's not nice to hurt people's feelings." Great lesson learned and a successful day, in my opinion.

He looks so grown up in the pictures. I can't believe him and landon are in the same grade. Hopefully life is a little easier minus one for a few hours.

I can tell he is ready. He's been patiently waiting his turn for school. I've always been glad that Brayden was able to start school a little older. Its been to his advantage. Tanner has grown to be such a nice boy! I noticed how friendly he was to his cousins when we were up. Once again, good job Tanner!

So yes I started watching ANTM of course. I am not sure what to think. It kind of wigs me out a little. Okay alot. Jared, who I must say has been a faithful watcher (only becuase I watch it and he is nice enough to just let me) has said this season he will be finding something else to do. He says he just can't. So I am guessing I will be watching it by myself and will be discussing with you. I felt bad about what they were saying about him/her while they were shooting the picture of her. I don't agree with it, but come on grow up girls. Anyway, you'll have to let me know what you think. Weird though for sure.

Okay so I need an update and I need to discuss ANTM. Hopefully you have watched and I won't be spoiling it for you but I am glad to see isis go. It was starting to freak me out listening to her talk about tape and swimsuits and all that junk. Way too much info. I cant believe they got rid of somebody after a runway walk. Come on throw a twist in the show but not that. I mean what about Shandi from season 2 (?) I am still not sure if she can walk but she took some really really good pictures after her makeover. I kind of liked hannah too. Would have rather seen clark go. That girl needs to get her some lips.

Linda--
It's your old roommate, Katie. I found you off of Megan's blog and thought I'd say "hi!". Your kids are too cute, and I am amazed by the fact that you've been raising twins! What a super-mom! Hope all is well...
