I know this school year is nearly over, but I was a little tied up when it started and I wanted to capture a few of Tanner's preschool days before he moves on to bigger and better things. I can't believe I almost have a child in Kindergarten! He loves his new school and he loves to learn and be social. He has become proficient at writing his first and last name. I remember last year the writing of his name on his Valentine's cards took like 5 days, this year 5 minutes. I'm not kidding. With the memory of last year still clear in my mind, I laid out all 19 cards on the table and told him that he could just write his name on a few and then go and play and then come back and do a few more when he felt like it until they were finished(I did this a week ago, thinking it would take forever). After watching him write on one I ran downstairs to throw in a load of laundry. As I was heading back upstairs he met me in the doorway and told me that he had finished. Of course I didn't believe him, but when I got to the table there were all 19, neatly written on--finished! I guess it shouldn't have been such a shock, but last year was so painful that I had geared myself up for that again. Also, he is no longer "little." You don't believe me? Just call him your "little buddy" or "little man." You will learn very quickly that according to him, "I'm not little, I'm big now--silly!" What a difference a year makes.
Tanner loves to draw, color and cut, all of which he does very precisely. I suppose he has a little of my OCD in him :). Best of all, he is a phenomenal big brother. He dotes on Mason and Porter more than I ever imagined. He loves to help me with them and he wants to make sure that they are always happy. I can't wait until they get a little older and can actually play with him! He will always be my "little buddy" even if he is growing up way too fast and way too willingly!
I love the unsolicited posing. Perhaps I shouldn't let him watch "America's Next Top Model" with me anymore! :)

I knew there was something good to be learned from ANTM other than no one is really that pretty all on their own! Excellent posing tanner!
That's funny, Kim! Good job, Linda, on capturing some day to day stuff. As you can tell from my blog, I seem to only do big events. I need to be better...
I love his rosy cheeks. I feel so far behind you and Kim. You all have kids in school and mine are still in nursery. Oh well. The little boys are so cute - I say get them all into modeling.
